Your day at NTT DATA
The People and Culture Operations Generalist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting various operational aspects of the employee lifecycle such as (but not limited to) tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee record maintenance.

The People and Culture Operations Generalist requires attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with related processes to contribute to the smooth execution of P&C operations. Key responsibilities:
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in various P&C processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding and payroll.
  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining P&C processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize workflows and P&C operations.
  • Ensures P&C activities and processes are in full compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Utilizes P&C data to generate insights, trends, and metrics that inform decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Accountable for organisational change initiatives within P&C operations, providing guidance to employees during transitions.
  • Works across other departments to align P&C strategies with organizational objectives and ensure seamless operations.
  • Works on relevant HRIS software for data management, reporting, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS
  • Responsible for processing employee payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and resolving payroll-related inquiries
  • Prepares related payroll and benefits reports as required
  • Performs any other related task as required.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Seasoned understanding of P&C processes, policies, and best practices across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding and payroll
  • Seasoned understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and guide decision-making.
  • Seasoned understanding of HRIS software and tools for efficient data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Seasoned understanding of analyzing P&C data to generate meaningful insights and present key metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex P&C concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Seasoned analytical skills to identify P&C challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead P&C projects from inception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, P&C leadership, and external partners to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience as an HR Generalist
  • Relevant experience working on HRIS software for complex data management, reporting, and analytics is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • With excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure
