We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to remotely verify that all passive fire protection works—such as service penetrations, fire stopping, and fire seals—comply with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable fire safety standards. This role primarily involves reviewing photographic evidence, compliance documentation, and as-built records submitted by site teams to ensure installations meet required standards before final approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve compliance forms and photos submitted for each penetration or passive fire solution.
- Assess installations against approved systems, Engineering Judgements (EJs), and relevant fire safety standards (e.g., AS 1530, AS 4072).
- Verify that correct fire-stopping products and methods are used in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Identify non-compliances, request further clarification, and issue corrective feedback to site teams.
- Ensure all passive fire protection works are reviewed and approved within specified deadlines.
- Stay up to date with changes in applicable fire safety standards and manufacturer product approvals.
- Perform other QA/QC-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply – strong attention to detail is essential.
- Experience in QA/QC or Quantity Surveying (QS) is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
