The Senior Technical Consultant is a critical member of the Level 1–Level 3 support model, providing advanced technical support for T24 environments running on the Temenos Application Framework for Java (TAFJ). The consultant will be responsible for incident analysis, debugging, and optimization of TAFJ services, ensuring system stability and high availability in mission-critical banking environments.

• You will provide advanced technical support for T24/TAFJ applications.
  
• You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in TAFJ runtime, JBoss/WebLogic application servers, and JVM environments.
  
• You will debug TAFJ server logs, stack traces, memory dumps, and thread dumps to identify bottlenecks.
  
• You will analyze and optimize batch processes, multi-threading, and performance tuning within TAFJ.
  
• You will support OFS messages, REST/SOAP APIs, MQ/JMS integration, and custom interfaces.
  
• You will manage and support TAFJ deployment pipelines, including EAR/WAR builds and environment setup.
  
• You will work on TAFJ classpath configuration, property files, resource adapters, and middleware integration.
  
• You will conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose preventive solutions.
  
• You will collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams for environment upgrades, patching, and hotfixes.
  
• You will maintain technical documentation, knowledge base, and runbooks for faster issue resolution.

• You should have minimum 5-7 years of experience in Temenos T24 with specialization in TAFJ architecture.
  
• You should have strong Java/J2EE programming and debugging skills, including multi-threaded applications.
  
• You should have hands-on experience with JBASE, OFS, TAFC/TAFJ interaction.
  
• You should have experience with application servers (JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere) and JVM tuning (GC, heap, thread pools).
  
• You should have proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, log analysis, and job scheduling (Autosys/Control-M).
  
• You should have database expertise: Oracle/DB2/SQL Server, including query optimization and troubleshooting.
  
• You should have experience with integration technologies: MQ, JMS, Web Services, APIs.
  
• You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills with proven experience in high-availability banking environments. 
  
  Nice to have:
  
• Temenos certifications (T24/TAFJ) or Java certifications.
  
• Experience with cloud-hosted T24 environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Exposure to performance monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK).
