1.Ensures completeness, availability and orderly display of merchandise. Likewise, the maintenance of visual merchandising standards set in the department. 2.Ensures department accomplishment of sales plan. 3.Reviews and analyzes sales data per merchandise category and discusses actions with Department Store Manager / Store Manager together with the Corporate Merchandising Department and Store Concession Officer for inputs/actions to ensure increase in sales. 4.Conducts periodic canvassing of merchandise with competitors to benchmark promotions, stocks, assortment and pricing. Submits recommendation to Department Store Manager / Store Manager 5.Monitoring and ensuring proper and accurate price tagging of merchandise. 6.Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service within the Department in the customer journey such as but not limited to look & feel, assortment and value, people and communication. 7.Maintains outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards, attracting more customers and contributing to a satisfying customer experience. 8.Increases Customer Loyalty for a company's brand, products, and services, contributing to outstanding sales performance. 9.Conducts job/product knowledge orientation to all department personnel. 10.Attends promptly to escalated customer concerns/complaints. 11.Ensures facilities in the department such as lightings, air-conditioning and fitting rooms (if there is any) are operational and in good condition. 12.Ensures proper product/merchandise handling, maintenance of the quality of merchandise (free from damage), ensuring quality of appearance (dust/dirt free), properly arranged and made available to customers all the time. 13.Manages department inventories by monitoring sales reports. Keeps inventories at a level to minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks while ensuring freshness of merchandise. 14.Performs sales forecasts based on monthly sales and projected promotional programs as basis for keeping buffer stocks. 15.Evaluates Stock Transfers. 16.Recommends clearance strategies to expiring, slow-moving and non-moving items. 17.Liaises closely with Merchandising Department for stock replenishments. 18.Facilitates stock transfers and receiving, bad orders/ damaged items for Return to Vendor (RTV) processing, voucher and disposal and concession pull out. 19.Oversees the implementation of the First-In, First-Out Policy of stocks (outright / concession) in the Forward Bodega. 20.Ensures the efficient and effective utilization of space for cost and services (outright / concession). 21.Ensures the involvement of all personnel to company initiated programs and other store initiatives. 22.Conducts mentoring and hands on training to direct reports. Likewise, recommends developmental programs to personnel based on skill/ job deficiencies. 23.Manages performance and productivity of the division. Handles performance evaluation, renewal of contracts and may recommend disciplinary actions. 24.Recognizes good performance, coaches subordinates for optimal performance and corrects performance below par. 25.Identifies and mentors internal potential employees for supervisory positions. 26.Ensures proper scheduling of manpower to support department operations in both peak and lull seasons/ time. 27.Conducts daily pep talk (before and after store hours) with department personnel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
