OVERVIEW The Head of Finance and Accounting will oversee the company's end-to-end financial strategy, planning, and operations.

This role is vital in ensuring financial sustainability, driving data-informed decision-making, and maintaining compliance across all fiscal activities. The position includes managing financial controls and reports, cash flow, budget preparation and monitoring, and release of commissions, while also ensuring organizational directions to sustain its objectives and vision. Highlights Strategic leadership role with a clear pathway to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Member of the Management Committee, actively contributing to company-wide strategy and sustainability initiatives Opportunity to build and scale a Finance & Accounting team tailored for a rapidly growing real estate startup Engaging, fast-paced environment with a collaborative company culture QUALIFICATIONS Educational Background & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong advantage Professional Experience At least 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance Minimum of 5 years in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role Industry experience in real estate development is highly preferred Technical Expertise In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and best practices Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial reports Strong understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes Familiarity with BIR regulatory requirements and tax compliance Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Leadership & Communication Demonstrates strong business acumen and leadership capabilities Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino Effective team manager with the ability to lead cross-functional teams Core Competencies Strong analytical thinking and research skills Highly organized with keen attention to detail Creative, innovative, and solution-oriented Capable of multitasking and managing strategic priorities Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure Committed to continuous learning and meaningful contribution to organizational growth RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Financial Leadership Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making on risk management, growth strategies, and operational efficiency Lead the development and implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans, including income targets, expense controls, and capital allocation Oversee the creation of financial models, forecasts, and scenario planning aligned with business objectives Present comprehensive and accurate financial statements and performance reports to Directors and stakeholders Recommend financial strategies to enhance profitability and seize new business opportunities Implement and monitor robust internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and mitigate financial risk Support enterprise-wide initiatives such as sustainability efforts, digital transformation, and operational innovation Financial Operations & Compliance Direct all core financial operations including budgeting, reporting, disbursements, collections, and audits Ensure timely and compliant filing of BIR forms (VAT, ITR, EWT, DST, etc.) Oversee and ensure the 100% collection of customer equity payments Manage the accurate release of commissions, disbursement checks, payroll, and government contributions Ensure strict compliance with SEC, BIR, LGU, and all applicable government regulations Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory agencies as necessary EMPLOYMENT DETAILS Industry: Real Estate Development Type: Full-Time Set-Up: On-Site Location: Evangelista St.
