Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), financial reporting, general ledger management, and Canvas Reporting, who is well-versed in both Philippine and U.S. accounting practices. The ideal candidate must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, proficient in QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) and QuickBooks Online (QBO), and have strong communication skills in English. This role focuses on financial reporting, general ledger management, and serving as a backup resource to support other accounting functions as needed.

Work Onsite: Cebu IT Park

Schedule: 11pm-8am PH Local, S-S Off

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Philippine and U.S. accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Bullhorn Canvas Reporting or similar software, QuickBooks Desktop/Online, and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
  • Strong experience in AP, AR, financial reporting, general ledger management, and data reconciliation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • With US work shift experience (PH night shift)
  • Salesforce experience is a required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial, sales and KPI reports for PH and U.S. operations using Bullhorn Canvas Reporting (required) and other tools.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both PH and U.S. accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Serve as a backup resource for AP, AR, and other accounting functions as needed.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) and QuickBooks Online (QBO) for financial data management and reporting.
  • Develop advanced Excel reports for data analysis, using complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Create presentations and documentation using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to support internal reporting and updates.
