The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Associate - Vendor Management to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and long-term value for the organization. This position strengthens vendor partnerships through structured engagement, performance monitoring, and issue resolution, enabling operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and business continuity. This role exists to establish and enforce vendor risk management frameworks, monitor supplier performance, mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks across the supply base. This position supports the organization by safeguarding business continuity, strengthening vendor governance, and promoting a culture of ethical, compliant, and risk-aware procurement practices.

What's The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining day-to-day contact with business-critical suppliers and respond to complex incidents with suppliers or supplies/services to analyze performance and provide feedback on key supplier management indicators.
  • Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor engagement and communication.
  • Acts as liaison with vendors to address compliance gaps and ensure risk mitigation
  • Custodian of vendor compliance framework and risk management processes
  • Support strategic partnering efforts, identifying potential partners, building relationships
  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any bachelor's degree in
Business Administration. Finance, or any business-related courses.
Preferably with working experience in a corporation or enterprise set-up, and experience working in healthcare organizational management with knowledge in compliance standards and supplier performance management and contract administration, with negotiation and relationship-building capabilities, analytical ability to assess vendor performance data and drive improvements. Business acumen in supply chain, procurement, and vendor lifecycle management
