About the Role

Solo Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking a versatile and skilled Full-Stack Developer with expertise in both mobile app development (React Native) and web development (PHP Laravel) to join our team. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining high-performance web and mobile applications that power our operational and compliance systems.

As a Full-Stack Developer (Mobile & Web), you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
  • Build and maintain responsive, scalable web-based applications using PHP (Laravel framework), ensuring integration with mobile services where needed.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both web and mobile platforms, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, user-friendly, and accessible interfaces.
  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring data synchronization and consistency between mobile and web apps.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing using PHPUnit (for web) and appropriate tools for mobile, ensuring code reliability and functionality.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across both web and mobile platforms effectively.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

· Stay current with industry trends, frameworks, and best practices across both mobile and web development ecosystems.

· Collaborate closely with project managers, backend developers, and operations teams to deliver features and system updates smoothly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 2+ year's experience in mobile app development using React Native.

· Experience in PHP development using Laravel framework.

· Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React principles, and state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).

· Strong knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming, and MySQL database concepts.

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS).

· Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and third-party integrations.

· Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Xcode for mobile builds.

· Experience with Firebase, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting is a plus.

· Knowledge of software testing using PHPUnit or similar frameworks.

· Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
