Job Summary

The Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of digital transformation initiatives for banking and financial services clients. This role ensures agile execution, compliance with regulatory and security standards, adherence to client SLAs, and achievement of commercial and revenue objectives. The position acts as a critical bridge between technical delivery teams, banking stakeholders, and business leadership in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of banking digital initiatives, including digital application development, mobile banking solutions, performance testing, test automation, and platform modernization, from RFP response through deployment and transition to production.
  • Own delivery governance across scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risk, and regulatory compliance, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as the primary delivery contact for banking clients, managing SLAs, KPIs, regulatory commitments, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams (development, QA, security, infrastructure, DevOps) and third-party vendors across multiple geographies.
  • Drive Agile delivery practices, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives, while tracking velocity, burn-downs, and delivery metrics.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating issues appropriately to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards such as data privacy, information security, risk management, and internal/external audits.
  • Partner with pre-sales and solution teams during RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation, solution design, and delivery planning for banking engagements.
  • Manage financial performance including revenue realization, margin management, forecasting, and change control.
  • Provide clear and structured reporting to client stakeholders and senior leadership on delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in IT services delivery, with 5+ years managing digital programs/projects in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Proven experience delivering core banking, digital banking, payments, or financial platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models in regulated environments.
  • Experience working with banking compliance, risk, security, and data privacy standards.
  • Strong client-facing experience managing senior banking stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP / PRINCE2
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / SAFe Agilist
  • Banking or risk-related certifications (preferred)
