Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Design Group to get technical details, bid plans, and specs for the bidding process.
  • Prepares the work breakdown structure, bidder list, project timeline, and other needed bid documents.
  • Sends bid documents to chosen contractors.
  • Arranges site visits and pre-bid meetings.
  • Takes meeting notes and issues bid updates when needed.
  • Collects questions from bidders and sends them to the Design Group for answers.
  • Creates bid comparisons and evaluations to help with clarifications.
  • Checks that bid proposals and required documents are complete.
  • Prepares recommendations for awarding contracts and issuing purchase orders.
  • Drafts contract documents and final agreements, making sure all required attachments and bonds are included.
  • Keeps organized records of all bid documents and purchase orders.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Civil Engineer.
  • At least 1 year of experience in bidding, purchasing, or related tasks.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
