Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Office-based – Taguig City

Experience: 3–6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry, with prior experience in designing, signing, and sealing plans.

Requirement: Must own a personal laptop

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Valid PRC Civil Engineer license.
  • 3–6 years of structural design and site inspection experience, ideally in telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS).
  • Strong understanding of local building codes and safety standards.
  • Good project management and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, sign, and seal structural drawings and calculations for towers, foundations, and other civil works.
  • Perform structural load analysis and ensure compliance with Philippine building codes and international standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, structural safety, and adherence to approved plans.
  • Lead or support PAT/FAT activities related to structural elements or tower installations.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve structural issues during construction and maintenance.

About iSON Tower

We provide tower sharing services to mobile operators through our in-house integrated design and engineering, procurement, construction and project management skills in the Telecom domain. Along with tower sharing services to MNOs through Build-to-Suit (BTS) towers and Buy-and-Lease-Back (BLB) of tower assets, we also undertake long term annuity contracts such as Managed Services for Mobile Network Operators. Long Term contracts with MNOs allows us to focus on long term benefits, process re-engineering and thereby, add value to our clients and achieve optimum utilization of telecom resources.
