Job Description

The Merchandising Associate is responsible for supporting the merchandising team in preparing products for sampling, assisting during showroom visits, and ensuring smooth day-to-day merchandising operations. This role plays a key part in product presentation, organization, and coordination with internal teams to maintain efficiency and quality in merchandising activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare products for sampling requests (internal and external clients) including proper labeling, packing, and documentation.
  • Assist in showroom visits by arranging displays, preparing samples, and ensuring a professional product presentation.
  • Support daily merchandising operations, including inventory checks, product tagging, and replenishment.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and marketing teams for product movement, availability, and sampling requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the showroom and sample areas.
  • Monitor sample requests and returns to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
  • Assist in administrative merchandising tasks such as filing, encoding, and report preparation.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned to support the merchandising team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment.
