Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with COBOL/DB2 development.
  • JCL experience: 8+ years preferred.
  • SQL experience: 4+ years.
  • CICS experience: At least 1 year.
  • Unix experience: 2+ years (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of programming, system analysis, and design.
  • Strong debugging and testing skills.

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Previous work in one or more of the following domains:
  • Banking
  • Financial Services
  • Life Insurance
  • Manufacturing
  • Retail

Key Skills:

  • COBOL, DB2, JCL, SQL, CICS, Unix
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct system analysis, program development, and unit testing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing systems.
  • Work within mainframe and Unix environments as required.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php90,000.00 per month
