About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Zirconia Inc' as a full-time Purchasing Assistant. Based in Makati City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and inventory management functions, ensuring the timely and cost-effective fulfilment of the company's purchasing requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation, processing and tracking of purchase orders, requisitions and supplier invoices
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to coordinate the delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to identify purchasing needs
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favourable pricing and terms
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing policies, processes and systems
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team as required

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement or inventory control role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using ERP/procurement software and MS Office applications
  • Adaptable and able to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of purchasing best practices, contracts and inventory management principles
