Essential Functions:

  • Design and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons (beginner to advanced levels).
  • Prepare instructional materials, activities, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Incorporate Spanish culture, history, and current events into lessons to enhance learning.
  • Utilize modern teaching methods, including multimedia tools and interactive platforms.
  • Maintain accurate class records, attendance, and performance reports.
  • Support students in preparing for proficiency tests (e.g., DELE) when applicable.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic staff to ensure consistent quality of instruction.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent speaker of Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in a foreign language specifically Spanish (Hispanic Philology)
  • With a broad knowledge of the Spanish language and grammar
  • With relevant experience of teaching Spanish as a foreign language
  • Competent, dedicated, and highly motivated teacher
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish and English languages
  • Customer Service experience is a plus
