Job Title: ERP Functional Consultant

Employment: Full time

Reports to: Project Manager

Work Setup: Primarily work from home set up. Must be willing to travel to client sites as needed.

Job Overview

As an ERP Functional Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our mission to bridge business needs with ERP technology. You'll dive into clients' operations—analyzing processes, designing solutions, and implementing the ERP to drive efficiency and growth. From requirements gathering to post-implementation support, you'll guide clients every step of the way, leveraging your expertise to configure, customize, and optimize their ERP experience. Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and goals, translating these into actionable ERP requirements.
  • Process Mapping and Optimization: Analyze client business workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimized processes that align with the ERP's capabilities and best practices.
  • ERP Configuration and Customization: Configure ERP modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, etc) to meet client-specific requirements, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems to ERP, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and debugging to ensure that the implemented solution meets client expectations and performs reliably.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation to support client adoption and knowledge transfer.
  • Go-Live Support: Execute the deployment plan, providing hands-on support during the go-live phase and addressing any immediate post-implementation issues.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients, including troubleshooting, training, and minor enhancements, to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.

Requirements and skills

  • At least 5 years experience in one of the following positions - IT Business Analyst, ERP Functional Consultant, Finance Analyst.
  • Experience in these applications is an advantage – Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain or IT-related courses
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Set up

  • Regular working hours from Mondays to Fridays with half-day Saturday morning. As applicable on project needs or phases, flexible working hours may apply.
  • Primarily work from home set up but must be willing to travel to client sites as needed.
