Overview:

Digital8 Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Music Production Intern to support our audio and creative teams. This role is ideal for students passionate about music, sound design, and audio production, offering valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced media and advertising environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recording sessions for music, jingles, and sound effects.
  • Support editing, mixing, and mastering of audio tracks.
  • Help organize and maintain digital audio files and production equipment.
  • Research music references, sound effects, and creative audio ideas.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to align sound design with branding and campaigns.
  • Assist in setting up microphones, mixers, and audio software.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Music, Audio Engineering, or a related course.
  • Basic knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton.
  • Familiarity with recording equipment and audio editing tools.
  • Strong interest in music production and sound design.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
