Job Description:

Accounting Head to lead and oversee the financial accounting operations across our group of companies. The ideal candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a strong background in multi-entity accounting, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Financial Management & Accounting Operations

- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across all subsidiaries and business units.

- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial reports for the group of companies.

- Manage the general ledger, including intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.

- Review and approve journal entries, account classifications, and supporting documentation.

B. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the management and board.

- Develop financial dashboards and KPIs to monitor company performance.

C. Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and successful audit completion.

- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, SEC filing requirements, and other regulatory bodies.

- Implement, monitor, and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and data integrity.

D. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Oversee tax planning, filing, and compliance including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other local business taxes.

- Liaise with BIR and local government units regarding tax assessments and compliance matters.

E. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business strategies and expansion plans.

F. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ethical accounting practices, and professionalism

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent; Master's degree or MBA is a plus

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a groupStrong knowledge of PFRS, BIR regulations, and other statutory requirements.Proven experience in multi-entity and consolidated accounting

Eligibility(Training, License, Certification): Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the Philippines

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations

- Excellent analytics, problem-solving and leadership skills

- Strong attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php130,000.00 per month
