We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
SAP SCM Lead
to oversee and manage our SAP Supply Chain systems and processes within the FMCG domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and support of SAP SCM solutions (including modules such as MM, PP, WM/EWM, APO, IBP) to ensure efficient supply chain operations, aligned with business objectives and FMCG best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP SCM Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the SAP SCM function, aligning IT capabilities with supply chain strategies across procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics, and distribution.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide strategic direction for SAP SCM systems in alignment with FMCG industry dynamics.

2. Project Management & Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end SAP SCM implementation and enhancement projects (greenfield, brownfield, or rollout).
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; manage resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Drive system integration efforts between SAP SCM and other enterprise systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, third-party systems).

3. Process Design & Optimization

  • Analyze current supply chain processes and recommend best practices leveraging SAP functionalities.
  • Design and configure SAP modules such as:
  • MM (Materials Management)
    – Procurement, inventory management.
  • PP (Production Planning)
    – Manufacturing planning and execution.
  • EWM/WM (Extended Warehouse Management)
    – Warehouse and logistics.
  • IBP/APO (Integrated Business Planning / Advanced Planning & Optimization)
    – Demand planning, supply planning, S&OP.
  • Enable seamless demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and responsive supply networks.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and change management initiatives for SAP users.

5. Support & Governance

  • Oversee system support, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
  • Establish governance around SAP SCM change management and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data integrity, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in one or more SCM modules is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP SCM (MM, PP, WM/EWM, IBP/APO), with 3+ years in a lead or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG supply chain operations (e.g., high-volume manufacturing, seasonal demand, complex distribution networks).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with global or regional SAP implementations in the FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules like SD, FI/CO.
  • Exposure to tools like SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, or third-party supply chain solutions.
  • Agile or hybrid project methodology experience.
