Job Overview:
TripGuru is seeking a
Supply Management Assistant Manager
to support and lead our regional Supply Management team while driving the company's growth across key destinations such as Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and Turkey.
This role is essential to TripGuru's global go-to-market strategy, ensuring our supply network—comprising tour guides, transportation providers, and local partners—is optimized for performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, operational, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to enhance supplier relationships, streamline internal processes, and ensure data integrity. You'll also play a key role in improving our technology tools, supplier portal, and overall partner experience to support our rapid expansion.
Core Responsibilities and Day to Day Tasks
- Team Leadership & Management:
Supervise, mentor, and support the Supply Management team to ensure consistent performance and professional growth. - Strategic & Operational Planning:
Develop and implement supply management strategies that align with TripGuru's business goals in each destination. Lead local supply growth initiatives, ensuring product diversity, quality, and availability. - Supplier Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all suppliers comply with local regulations, safety standards, licensing, and insurance requirements. - Capacity & Performance Management:
Analyze demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and booking data to ensure adequate supply and contingency capacity. Monitor supplier and product performance, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement improvement plans. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Business Development, Operations, and Technology teams to enhance supply performance, process automation, and platform usability. Provide structured feedback to Product/Tech teams to improve UX, data quality, and partner engagement tools. - Data Analysis & Reporting:
Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs and operational metrics. Analyze commercial and operational data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. - Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Qualification Guidelines
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred in Business, Hospitality, or other related degrees
- 1 years of experience in Vendor Management in the Online Travel Industry is an asset but not a requirement
- Proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with Data Analysis and Metabase is a plus.
- Has a strong sense of ownership with an ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with limited time and resources.
- Data-minded and resourceful in collecting and synthesizing data from different sources
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving, and impact-driven team culture
- Possess a start-up mentality and ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. Flexibility and attentiveness to details are essential.
