About the role
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Call Center Agent with experience supporting large real estate brokerages (e.g., Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, or similar). This role is responsible for handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, nurturing leads, supporting agents, and delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the real estate process.
The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of real estate, is comfortable speaking with buyers and sellers, and can represent the brokerage with professionalism and confidence.
What you'll be doing
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from buyers, sellers, and prospects
- Make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, internet leads, open house leads, and marketing campaigns
- Pre-qualify leads and gather key information (timeline, budget, property preferences, motivation)
- Schedule appointments for real estate agents
- Route calls and messages to appropriate agents or departments
- Enter, update, and manage client information in CRM systems (e.g., Command, BoomTown, Follow Up Boss, Salesforce, or similar)
- Respond to email, text, and online inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide basic information about listings, processes, and next steps (without giving legal or financial advice)
- Maintain detailed call notes and activity logs
- Support listing promotions, event reminders, and campaign follow-ups
- Deliver a positive, professional first impression of the brokerage
What we're looking for
- Previous call center or customer service experience (1+ year preferred)
- Experience working with or for a large real estate brokerage (Keller Williams or similar strongly preferred)
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable handling objections and engaging hesitant leads
- Ability to multitask while navigating CRM systems and call software
- Professional phone presence and clear speaking voice
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of the real estate transaction process
- Proficient with computers, email, and data entry
