Illustrators are artists that use their creative skills to create original images for a range of printed and digital products. They work closely with clients and the marketing team to turn ideas and printed media into inspiring illustrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a solid body of work
  • Take the design "brief" to record requirements and clients' needs.
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas.
  • Create Illustrations for use in digital and print games.
  • Provide iterations of concept art in various production stages including rough sketches, full-color concepts, and final rendered works.
  • Amend final designs to the client's comments and gain full approval.
  • Creates computer-generated animation of symbols, effects, UI, and characters using Aseprite, Spine, or After Effects.
  • Possesses advanced and applied to understand animation principles timing, Staging, anticipation, squash, and stretch, etc.
  • Strong animation fundamentals with a focus on humans, animals, creatures, and mechanical movement.
  • Work as part of a team with art directors, designers, and other illustrators.
  • Prepare rough drafts according to requirements
  • Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations.
  • Refine designs with illustration software.
  • Use various colors, graphics, and effects to better visualize each concept.
  • Format images using computer-aided design (PS / AI) software.
  • Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex shapes.
  • Participate in design briefs with the art director and account executives to identify clients' needs.
