Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs job functions consistent to the corporate vision, mission statements and core values of the company and ensure that subordinate performs their respective functions in like manner.
• Performs safety related functions such as use of PPEs, safety equipment. Maintain safe environment and other procedures eliminating personal injury, equipment/component, damage, and environmental impact.
• Conducts daily work area inspection.
• Prepares corrective and preventive JO reports and updates the JO report and checklist. 
• Performs actual repair and maintenance of building system, roads, drainage, fencing, other related civil infrastructure, equipment & ancillaries to ensure continuous manufacturing operations. And responsible in like manner to comply with the building codes and Bureau of Labor Safety Standards.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of Industrial technological course, Mechatronics or Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
• At least four (4) to five (5) years of work-related experience in an Industrial/Chemical Refinery set-up & have working knowledge on hydromet.
• Should be NCII and with technical certifications.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and schematics.
• Interpret service and operating manuals, specifications, and technical bulletins.
• Complies with the building codes and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.
• Ability to select basic hand and portable tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of civil infrastructure, including buildings, roads, drainage, fencing, and other structures.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations on civil facilities as needed.
• Assist in the construction and installation of civil works projects under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders for civil works projects.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to facility issues or emergencies related to civil infrastructure.
• Support in planning and executing civil works projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively for civil maintenance and repairs.

• Maintains rigging, hoisting/lifting and moving equipment.
  •  Performs routine trade tasks.
• PREVENTIVE AND PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE and TESTING.
  • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance (furnace/melter/distillation/centrifuge/roofing) & etc.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite in PMD and OSP.
• Some tasks may be performed indoors/outdoors in maintenance rooms, construction site, warehouses, or offices which may involve different conditions.
• Work areas can sometimes be noisy, dusty, or dirty, requiring appropriate protective gear.
• This role requires physical demand such as lifting, digging, climbing on roof tops, and working in confined space or working at heights.
• Emergency repairs or urgent issues may require immediate response outside regular hours.
