Electrical & Instrumentation Designer (AVEVA E3D),

What will you be doing?
The Scope Of This Role Includes The Following
As an
Electrical & Instrumentation Designer (AVEVA E3D),
you will work within a team of engineers focused on technical drafting/modelling structures in the marine, offshore, and broader renewable energy spaces. This will include preparation of 2D and 3D drafting using AVEVA, Inventor and AutoCAD. In addition, you will also:

• Developing structure 3D models using AVEVA Hull / E3D, generating design documentation, and collaborating with other engineers
• Prepare design in 2D drawing and material take off using AVEVA E3D.
• Deep understanding of the software's features, capabilities, and best practices.
• Understand the design requirements from clients and various rules.
• Expert using AutoCAD, experience in Inventor, and Rhino are advantages.
• Actively participate in growing and sharing knowledge within the Group
• Continuously grow, learn, and maintain a base of knowledge and skills relevant to the Group's business
• Always comply with the company QHSE policies, manuals, procedures, work systems and regulations at ABL premises, projects and client sites.
• And other duties as assigned.

The position will be based in Cebu, Philippines, and you must have the right to live and work in the Philippines. The role is office-based; however, the current policy in our Cebu office allows employees to work certain days from home, provided employees have reliable/stable high-speed connectivity and a suitable workstation at home.

What are we looking for?
To Excel In This Position, You Will Be An Experienced And Professional Designer With Demonstrable Hands-on Experience In The Shipbuilding And Offshore Engineering Sectors. Proficiency In Aveva E3D & AutoCAD (2D & 3D) Is Essential. Additionally, You Will Bring

• A degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years' experience with AVEVA E3D, Inventor, and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Proven background in ship and offshore structure design from concept to detailed engineering.
• Strong grasp of industrial E&I systems in oil & gas, power, or chemical sectors.
• Ability to read P&IDs, control system architecture, and loop diagrams.
• Experience in QA/QC (drawing checking) functions.
• High proficiency in AVEVA E3D and AutoCAD.
• High attention to detail, quality focus, and technical versatility.
• Clear, concise English communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cultures and remote teams.
• Professional integrity, self-awareness, and conflict resolution skills.

Desirable

• AVEVA design experience (E3D, Electrical, Instrumentation).
• Familiarity with control devices and systems (PLC/DCS).
• Knowledge of IEC, ISA, NEC, IEEE, API standards.
• 3D model coordination across disciplines.
• AVEVA certification or formal training.
• Experience with digital twin concepts and data-centric design.
• Field experience in E&I installation or commissioning.
• Proficiency in Inventor and Rhino.
• Site or field engineering exposure.
• Problem-solving mindset and client focus.
• Intellectual curiosity and adaptability.
• Multilingual skills.
