Accounting Assistant (Contractual – 2 Months)

JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Assistant will provide temporary support to the Accounting Department by assisting in the encoding, categorization, and organization of expenses and receipts. The role is primarily focused on project-based and administrative expense documentation to support year-end financial review and reporting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Encode expenses and receipts into Excel / Google Sheets
  • Categorize expenses by project and administrative costs
  • Organize, sort, and file official receipts, invoices, and supporting documents
  • Assist in preparing expense summaries and schedules per project
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of encoded data against supporting documents
  • Assist in reconciling expense records with petty cash and disbursement reports
  • Support the accounting team in year-end report preparation
  • Perform other admin/ accounting-related tasks as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related course
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and expense classification
  • Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in data entry
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
  • Prior experience in accounting or expense encoding is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pasig: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
