Database Developer

Join our Commodities and Global Markets, Central Technology team as we continue to deliver exciting new projects of work aligned to our Technology strategy, risk obligations and platform delivery optimisation. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. As an experienced database developer, you'll play a key role in managing and organising data, ensuring that the databases are both efficient and secure.

You will bring software and solution engineering experience and apply best practices, while solving a varied range of technical problems and delivery challenges. You will also play a critical role with our operational and business stakeholders. What you offer5+ years of experience of database development with experience in designing and supporting Business Intelligence capabilities, including ETL processes and warehouse architecture

Experience in designing, developing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts to support various business operations

Experience in creating and optimising reports and dashboards using SSRS or any equivalent (PowerBI, Tableau)Experience in automating and managing SQL server tasks with PowerShell scripting

Experience in modern cloud database solutions like AWS is an advantage

Passionate about learning new technologies and excellent database knowledge in designing and creating database structures.
