The Inventory Audit Associate is responsible for conducting inventory audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in stock management. This role involves verifying inventory counts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly and surprise inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify and document inventory discrepancies, shortages, or overages.
  • Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory reports and audit findings.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, Stores, and finance teams to improve inventory management processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze stock movements.
  • Generate detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in auditing, retail, or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools, accounting software, and MS Office.
  • Amenable to work in San Juan and do field work
