KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists in the preparation of the annual IT Audit Plan, including targets, key result areas, budgets, cost reduction initiatives, personnel requirements, and other related activities of the Internal Audit Group.
  2. Assists in the formulation and evaluation of internal audit policies, processes, measures, and standards, and ensures adherence to them.
  3. Acts as Team Leader or Auditor-in-Charge in the examination of the Information Technology Group.
  4. Participates in project development activities to strengthen internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to data processing standards (IT Audit – internal projects).
  5. Performs application reviews to evaluate organizational and operational effectiveness.
  6. Assists the IT Auditor in developing recommendations for improving the IT and business control environment.
  7. Performs initial reviews of IT audit reports prepared by other IT Audit Specialists.
  8. Provides assistance, on behalf of the Internal Audit Committee (IAC), in system application conversions, migrations, and interface implementations between system applications.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Degree in BSIT, BSCS, BSIM, or equivalent or BS in Accountancy
  2. Understands Project Management Frameworks / System Development Life Cycle Methodology
  3. With knowledge in programming on Visual Basic, Web Development, SQL and Oracle Data Base Management System.
  4. Knowledge in using VA/PT tools is a plus
