  • Assemble machines electrical / mechanical systems according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction of projects.
  • Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, or repair mechanical/electrical instruments or testing equipment.
  • Assist in evaluating engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound mechanical/electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommend approval or disapproval.
  • Prepare project cost or work-time estimates.
  • Prepares monthly reports, analyses data, and makes recommendations for improving electrical machinery or equipment operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to identify, define, or solve developmental problems.
  • Assist in the operational improvements; routine technical surveys, inspections and audits.
  • Write commissioning and maintenance procedures for facilities or production equipment and machine's electrical installations and operation.
  • Analyse and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor work of support personnel or contractors to assist supervisor.
  • Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
  • Prepare and keep designs and plans in accordance with established codes, standards and specifications.
  • Assist on monitoring regularly operation of facilities equipment and systems.
  • Support and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, tools, equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
  • Compile maintenance or daily records and make statistical data in promoting, such as time, preventive data, repair or maintenance statistics, or test results.
