Job Qualifications:

Ø  Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

Ø  Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus

Ø  At least 3years experience as Accounting Supervisor

Ø with pleasing personality

Ø  Proven experience working as an Accounting Officer

Ø  Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Ø  The ability to process large amounts of numerical data

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Ø  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø  Strong management and leadership skills

Ø  Effective communication skills

Ø  Detail-oriented

Ø  Willing to be assigned in Mandaluyong City

BROAD FUNCTION

Ø  Overseeing daily transactions (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations)

Ø  Participating in tax audits

Ø  Preparing budget reports

Ø  Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor

Ø  Experience with accounting software (e.g. FreshBooks and Zoho)

Ø  Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)

Ø  Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations

Ø  Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

Ø  Attention to detail and accuracy

Ø  Team management skills

Ø  Ability to prioritize work

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ø  Assisting staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.

Ø  Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.

Ø  Identifying potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.

Ø  Liaising with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.

Ø  Accurately preparing tax returns and ensuring that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.

Ø  Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.

Ø  Supervising and providing overall guidance to account clerks as well as junior accounting staff.

Ø  Providing regular updates to management regarding company finances.

Ø  Ensuring that the company maintains compliance with accounting legislation.

Ø  Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations

Ø  Participate in regular tax audits and payroll

Ø  Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues

Ø  Manage month-end and year-end closing

Ø  Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department

Ø  Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records

Ø  Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives

Ø  Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company's targets

Ø  Ensure compliance with the law

Others

· Makes sure that all correspondence (letters, purchase order, etc..) that requires the attention of the head office are properly email and original copy sent to the department head concerned at the soonest possible time.

· Follow proper rules and regulation as set by the HR (Human Resource), Accounting and Purchasing Department.

· Attending training/re-orientation when required to do so and inform person concerned when work does not permit for attending such.
