About the role

We are seeking a qualified Shift Engineer (Licensed Mechanical & Electrical Engineer) to join our team at Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. This full-time role is based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical and electrical systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the daily operation and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, generators, and other machinery
  2. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs to keep all systems running efficiently
  3. Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency
  4. Liaise with external contractors and vendors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team
  7. Maintain detailed records and reports on all maintenance activities
  8. With Experience as a shift engineer in hotel

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. Licensed Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  6. Hands-on experience with maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment
  7. Familiarity with energy management principles and sustainability practices
  8. Good communication and team-working skills
