Duties and Responsibility

• Promptly responds to the First call for the physical retrieval of the deceased from place of death.
• Sees to it all deceased transferred under our care are treated with utmost respect
• Dispatches the driver and attendant/janitor/helper and gives details necessary for the retrieval of the deceased.
• Ensures that all documents needed (Trip ticket, release from/ Death Cert etc.) prior to retrieval are in place.
• Assists and advises the family as to steps to be taken in case the deceased is retrieved from the hospital, residence or if medico legal case, in order to avoid delays.
• Gathers essential information from the bereaved family for proper coordination with all parties concerned.
• Informs the family regarding the basic requirements and procedures for claims (SSS, GSIS, Insurance Memorial plans etc.)
• Consistently ensures the cleanliness and orderliness of all the chapels, office, showroom, preparation room, and the surrounding area including all service vehicles and equipment through proper coordination with personnel concerned.

• Supervise, coordinates and arrange all aspects of the funeral service which may include:

• Close coordination with the morticians/ embalmers and janitors for preparation and presentation of the body

• Oversee embalming of the deceased prior to the funeral
• Accommodated and assists the bereaved families on their needs like: flowers arrangements, candle requirements or even assistance in coordinating with priest or pastor services.
• Supervise the preparations and completion of ornaments for residential and/or outside viewing cases
• Organize pall bearers and /or additional manpower for interment requirements
• Directs the funeral service from the beginning of the arrangement throughout completion.
• Collates and reports to the operation to the General Manager and HR all incidents involving operations
• Reports client feedback concerning services, personnel attitudes and conduct; may it be positive or negative for assessment purposes.
• Performs other task and function, as may be assigned by the Management.
