Duties and Responsibility

Licensed Embalmer

• Conduct an initial assessment of the body condition, fill up the embalmer's remark form, and properly communicate with the Management, Branch OIC/ Sr Funeral Director with proper recommendations.
• Sees to it that all deceased transfers under our care are treated with utmost respect and are well taken care of.
• Observe and perform the standard operating procedures in embalming a deceased following the Department of Health (DOH) requirements.

Sanitation, Documentation, Preservation, Restoration

• Signs the Death Certificate of the Deceased after performing the embalming procedure. Records Embalming and incidents and other irregularities such as accidents, urges, and any untoward event before, during, and after the embalming procedure on the Embalming Logbook;
• Report similar incidents to the Management, Branch OIC/ Sr Funeral Director.
• Reports client feedback concerning services, personnel attitudes, and conduct; may it be positive or negative for assessment purposes.
• Performs other tasks and functions, as may be assigned by the Management.
