Data & Automation Engineer

Remote (8:55 AM - 5 PM EST) | Full-Time

We're seeking a Data & Automation Engineer to join our global operations team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain the automations, dashboards, and reporting systems that power our marketing, sales, and operations teams. You'll work directly with leadership to ensure data visibility, accuracy, and seamless integration across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation & Scripting: Build and maintain scripts in Google Apps Script, Python, or similar to automate workflows, reminders, and data syncs.
  • CRM & Systems Management: Maintain and improve integrations within Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRMs. Ensure data flows accurately between tools.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create and manage dashboards in Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio that provide real-time visibility into KPIs.
  • Data Quality & Integrity: Monitor for errors, troubleshoot discrepancies, and proactively fix issues before they impact stakeholders.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Project & Process Improvement: Use tools like Gantt charts, workflows, and SOPs to document, optimize, and scale recurring processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, systems integration, or reporting/operations engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools, scripts, and integrations (Google Apps Script, Zapier, Python, API connectors).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing operations tools.
  • Expertise in reporting & dashboard platforms (Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills — able to diagnose a broken report, incorrect metric, or misfiring automation quickly.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Make, Workato).
  • Familiarity with SQL or database queries.
  • Background in marketing operations or sales operations.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies.
