Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC

  • Crafts and implements Tier 2 Objectives and Strategic Initiatives as aligned with Tier 1 and 1.5 Balanced Scorecard
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve management reporting and budgeting process to drive return minded spending
  • Conducts a periodic risk analysis of the threats, hazards and security vulnerabilities of the facilities/projects to include establishing countermeasures in addressing or reducing these risks to an acceptable level.

SECURITY MANAGEMENT

  • Oversees the management of security on all facilities/projects, to ensure the development and implementation of efficient security operations and cost-effective security systems across all Aboitiz Renewables. facilities/projects. Ensures alignment with AEV PAS policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and implements new security processes, technologies and systems to improve and streamline security processes and the use of resources across all facilities/projects.
  • Provides strategic direction for security training, employee security awareness, emergency response and security incident management
  • Approves monthly contract compliance reviews undertaken per site as well as conducts a quarterly review and evaluation of SGF per security cluster

ADMINISTRATION

  • Ensures that departmental decisions such as staffing, organization, acquisitions and facilities are in line with Aboitiz Renewables vision and strategic direction
  • Establishes and administers the department's budget
  • Submits to management periodic reports on security operations in all facilities/projects
  • Implements and enforces company rules and regulations including national, local and community laws pertaining to safety, health and security issues that may from time to time be prescribed.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Lead initiatives that build and foster strategic partnerships with security stakeholders and expand relationships with policy makers that affect security operations, industry leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Facilitate in the building of strong relationships across key security stakeholder groups as well as influence security stakeholder engagements across all facilities/projects
  • Establishes a culture of information/intelligence sharing between military, law enforcement and emergency response agencies to validate present and emerging threats such as terrorist and criminal activity to Aboitiz Renewables' assets and interests
  • Facilitates the conduct of benchmarking and sharing of security standards and practices across Aboitiz Renewables' joint ventures

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Develops and/or implements the Department's approved organizational chart to ensure effective and efficient work flow.
  • Implements the company's performance evaluation system as well as its career development program for the Department's personnel.
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of Training Programs and other interventions to improve job skills and enhance performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
  • Certified Security Professional
    and
    Licensed Security Manager.
  • Professional:
    At least ten (10) years of direct experience in "Industrial/Private" Security Administration and Operations.
  • Leadership Experience:
    At least Five (5) years experience in security operations and Intelligence Operations Management; with military/police background.
  • Project Experience:
    At least three (3) years in leading a project
  • Proficient on security and intelligence matters.
  • Certification and experience on Investigation skills
  • Knowledge in weapons handling
  • One (1) vacant position available in Benguet, Makati or Davao.
