They are responsible for the back-end development, including database management, API creation, user authentication, and ensuring application performance and security. They collaborate with front-end developers and designers to create user-friendly and efficient web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel: This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code.
  • Database management: Working with databases like MySQL and using Laravel's Eloquent ORM.
  • API development and integration: Creating and managing RESTful APIs using Laravel and integrating them with front-end technologies.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging: Identifying and resolving issues within the application's code and functionality.
  • Collaboration: Working with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web applications.
  • Performance optimization: Ensuring applications are efficient, scalable, and responsive.
  • Code quality and testing: Writing automated tests and participating in code reviews to ensure the application meets quality standards.
  • Staying up-to-date: Keeping current with the latest Laravel updates, best practices, and web development trends.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Laravel: Strong understanding of the Laravel framework, its features, and best practices.
  • PHP programming: Solid experience with PHP, including object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Database knowledge: Experience with databases like MySQL, and working with ORMs like Eloquent.
  • Preferably with 3–5 years of experience and/or at a mid to senior level
  • Willing to learn and possesses good work ethics
  • RESTful API development: Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs using Laravel.
  • Front-end integration: Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., , React) and how they integrate with Laravel.
  • Version control: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
  • Preferably with Shopify experience
  • Communication and teamwork: Ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with a team.

  • Office Location: Panabo City, Davao Del Norte

  • Preferred Applicants: Residents of Panabo City, Davao City, or within the Davao Region.

  • Position: Full-time

  • Work Schedule: 3 PM – 12 MN

  • Weekends Off: Fixed
