What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day accounting operations, Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT, EWT, ITR, 2316, etc.)
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax compliance reports to regulatory bodies
  • Manage reconciliation of tax accounts and ensure accurate tax provisions
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, working closely with auditors
  • Monitor and implement changes in local tax regulations
  • Provide tax advisory and support to management on business transactions
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all tax-related transactions
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for management and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring all accounting transactions are recorded properly and in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function
  • Providing guidance and training to the accounting team, fostering their professional development
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning activities
  • Ensuring the company's accounting systems and controls are maintained effectively

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an accounting or finance department
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and relevant regulations
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • A keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • A proven track record of process improvement and team development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
