Key Responsibility: Supervise the activities of the team, oversee tax filing and payments, and optimize returns to appropriate accounting policies. Review and recommend process improvements on the existing tax practice of the Bank.

Oversee overall tax compliance including National, Local Tax, and other tax-related areas. Critical Accountabilities: Oversee the filing of tax reports and payments. Identify possible non-compliance tax issues and initiate correction of errors noted.

Enhance departmental procedures and recommend means to reduce processing time of reports. Recommend tax savings. Review and approve the conduct of risk incident reporting, risk, and control assessment for the department.

Direct supervision of Accounting Officers monitoring daily tasks and deliverables. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in accountancy/business administration, preferably CPA. Lawyer is an advantage.

With tax operations and accounting background for a bank, with a minimum of 5 years in a specific area as an Officer. Preferably with external audit experience. Knowledgeable in tax code and regulations and new FRS issuances and has the ability to apply theoretical frameworks in actual practice.
