About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in digital media, understands the latest social trends, and has a passion for crafting engaging video and audio content that resonates with audiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, YouTube Shorts.
  • Edit and produce professional audio content, including podcasts.
  • Design visually appealing and engaging thumbnails for videos.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop video concepts.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques such as color grading, audio enhancement, animations, text-on-screen captions, engaging transitions, and zooms to keep content fresh and exciting.
  • Manage the entire video editing process—from selecting raw footage to final exports.
  • Organize and maintain a library of raw video and audio assets.
  • Assist with scriptwriting and storyboarding when needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on video editing techniques, social media trends, and best practices to ensure our content remains competitive and engaging.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of audio editing software (e.g., Audition, Logic, Audacity, etc.).
  • Creative eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and algorithms.
  • Bonus: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) for thumbnail creation.
