Full Stack Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, full-stack junior software engineer with 2-5 years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.

The candidate we are looking for must be passionate about coding and is excited to learn and collaborate on developing applications and making users' lives easier.

The candidate will be working on applications that will improve the business processes of employees and customers of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Write clean and maintainable code under the guidance of the project leader
  • Collaborate with anyone involved in the project including senior software engineers, IT support team, and project owners
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that are reported by the IT support team
  • Maintain systems that only require HTML/Javascript knowledge such as ERP Systems, Websites, other business software

Qualifications

  • College-degree in Computer Science or any Software Engineering related sources
  • 2-5 years of software development experience in web technologies
  • Proficient in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and SQL
  • Must have a clear understanding of Web technologies such as HTTP, REST/SOAP APIs, Client/Server architecture
  • Must be familiar with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Experience in Linux is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
