Position Statement

The Sales Consultant will take responsibility for following up on sales leads. He/she will look to establishing the best service package for each customer, through assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate services or solutions whilst negotiating and promoting other Crown Products and services.

He/She will work closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to servicing the customer's needs and meeting all commitments made.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead, Suspect & Prospect Management

  • Conducting of lead generation activities via cold calls, email campaigns, social media prospecting, and the likes.
  • Converting suspects into prospects through planned follow up and understanding of requirements and aligning same

  • Providing and signing contracts beneficial to the business and not less than the agreed GP margin percentage

  • Maintaining and improving cross functional relationship within the business unit assigned and working towards achieving revenue targets

Sales Target Management

  • Meet the quarter and annual sales target as agreed with the Business Head.
  • Generate and qualify leads based on verticals and markets of choice
  • Follow up on the prospects and convert them to customers.

Market & Competition Information Management

  • Keep Dynamics updated on all stages from Lead to Opportunity.
  • Update market knowledge including verticals, competition, technology innovation and trends

Initial Customer Support

  • Ensure smooth and complete transition of all the won projects to business head and operations.
  • Maintain new customer relationship for all aspects prior and after the project completion.

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Support the company CSR commitment and goals.

Other

  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.

Aptitude, Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet deadlines
  • Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism

Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders
  • Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Strong customer orientation with a consultative sales approach.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Effective planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics) and Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English in both written and verbal communication.
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position.
