Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's physical infrastructure, including maintenance, safety, energy management, and capital improvement projects. This role ensures that all facilities and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with brand standards and regulatory requirements, while enhancing guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities


• Facilities Management:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all resort buildings, equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.


• Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all systems and equipment.


• Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and manage the engineering team, ensuring high performance, safety, and professional development.


• Budgeting & Planning:

Prepare and manage the department's operating and capital budgets. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.


• Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fire/life safety, environmental, and building codes.


• Energy & Sustainability:

Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce the resort's environmental footprint.


• Project Management:

Oversee renovation and construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.


• Guest Satisfaction:

Respond promptly to guest and operational issues related to engineering and maintenance.
