In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of construction teams on-site, collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify and resolve any issues or deviations from the project plans
  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and regulations
  • Perform technical calculations, prepare progress reports, and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Provide support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on the team

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the construction process and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant engineering software and tools
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
