We are seeking a full-time in-house graphics / production art professional at a leading North American promotional products distributor. This individual should possess a great sense of design along with excellent prepress, type and color skills. Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Illustrator/InDesign) is a MUST working in PC environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable juggling multiple projects and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment and is able to quality check their work.

Requirements

  • 3 years (minimum) of Graphic Design/Production Art experience.
  • College degree - associate's degree or above preferred.
  • High-Level Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of pre-press file setup / production ready artwork as well as various printing processes including digital, silk-screen and offset printing. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

Other Skills and Strengths

  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Illustrator with a proven knowledge of graphic design and production art for print or web.
  • Solid track record of accurately estimating and meeting deadlines through excellent time management.
  • Strong attention to detail, an inherent eye for design, and the ability to multi-task and quality check work.
  • Solid people skills, ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Copy proofing and editing.
  • Ability to communicate well and time management.

Primary Duties and Split Responsibilities

Graphic Design/Production Ready Artwork Prepare pre-press setup files using customers high resolution files to the customer's order specifications while meeting deadlines.

Quality Check - Performs preflight on customers artwork to determine accuracy, omissions, or additional requirements. Alters illustrations to enlarge, reduce, or clarify image on original artwork to match customer's expectations then creates a print of the digital image for the print file.

Operates computer and other peripheral electronic equipment to complete job assignments including setting up print files and pre-flight setup.

Assists with other jobs in department as needed.

Supporting the art department in getting creating proofs/virtual for approval using existing templates as well creating production ready artwork and printing on various machines. The position will also occasionally include Marketing projects including trade advertisements, graphics for website support, posters and product flyers and email newsletters.

The optimal candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills and will be expected to keep pace with a heavy, deadline-oriented workload.

Salary: Php Php250.00 per hour
