About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join the dynamic finance team at Borough Medical Care Institute Inc.' in our Pasay City Metro Manila office. As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, while also mentoring and developing our accounting staff. This is a full-time position, offering excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end close processes
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and other key reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Providing guidance and training to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Liaising with management, auditors, and other stakeholders to address financial inquiries and provide financial insights
  • Ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within financial accounting and reporting
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing accounting staff
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and best practices
