Company Overview

We make 3D wooden topographic maps.

They are designed primarily in Illustrator and then laser cut.

We are based in Sydney, Australia.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for a lot of the Illustrator work. Eg. legend design map labels and contour editing. You will be trained how to do these specific tasks.

As we are a small and growing business (just 2 of us at the moment), you should be able to wear multiple hats to also help with marketing - photoshopping product images, creating graphics for marketing material, and editing footage for marketing material and for the website.

Requirements

  • Available to start full time ASAP
  • English fluency
  • Attention to detail
  • Illustrator proficiency. You must be capable with this software.
  • Photoshop familiarity

Non Critical Abilities (hopefully you have some ability with a few of the below)

  • AI image creation and editing - Midjourney or your preferred platform
  • Premiere Pro / CapCut familiarity
  • 3D modeling familiarity - Blender, Autodesk, Rhino, Fusion etc. Some maps are made with the CNC so we first make a 3D model of the map.
  • SEO knowledge / ability
  • Shopify knowledge

Future

Overtime you will be able to take on more of the map design responsibility, and even fully design your own maps to be laser cut and added to the catalog.
