Does (Core Tasks & Activities)

  • Researches and analyzes global AML regulatory updates (e.g., AMLC and BSP advisories, FATF guidance) and internal performance data to assess their impact on the current AML program strategy.

  • Coordinates and documents strategic planning sessions, governance committee meetings, and regulatory update forums led by AML leadership.

  • Tracks and monitors the progress of critical AML projects (e.g., system upgrades, new model implementations, regulatory remediation) using project management tools.

  • Prepares and refines presentations, white papers, and communications on AML strategic objectives and performance for executive management and the Board.

  • Supports the annual AML Risk Assessment process by aggregating data, documenting methodologies, and coordinating stakeholder input.

  • Displays exceptional discretion, integrity, and professionalism when dealing with sensitive compliance and investigative information.

  • Exhibits strong organizational and logistical skills to manage multiple, high-stakes regulatory deadlines and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying potential roadblocks in strategic execution and proposing practical, risk-mitigating solutions.

  • Communicates complex compliance and technical project statuses in a clear, concise, and structured manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Delivers (Outputs & Deliverables)

  • Delivers high-quality, auditable Governance Committee materials (agendas, pre-reads, minutes) and ensures timely dissemination.

  • Delivers comprehensive and visually effective Executive-level Status Reports and dashboards summarizing AML program health and strategic project progress.

  • Delivers accurate and timely action item trackers from all strategic meetings, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through on commitments.

  • Delivers well-researched briefing documents and competitive analyses on AML technology and compliance practices.
