About the role

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. is seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu. As a Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's financial and tax compliance operations. This full-time position will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with our finance and accounting teams, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns and supporting documentation
  • Conducting research to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Assisting with tax planning and strategy development to optimise the company's tax position
  • Liaising with external tax authorities and auditors to ensure compliance
  • Providing tax-related advice and support to various business units
  • Developing and maintaining tax-related policies, procedures, and controls
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient tax management practices

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using tax software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and adaptable to changes in the tax environment
