The Accounting Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. This role includes preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, handling accounts payables and receivables, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure up-to-date account balances
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and timely filing of tax returns and other statutory reports
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external financial audits
  • Maintain organized records of all financial documents and compliance reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • With at least 1 year Experience in general accounting or bookkeeping in Real Estate is preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in preparing and filing tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
