We have a remote/work from home job opening for a Web UI Designer

Job Summary:

As a Mid-level Web UI Designer, you will collaborate with a team of designers to craft high-fidelity interfaces and polished visual assets for web products.
You'll create high-fidelity, visually stunning web experiences with knowledge in art direction, design composition, typography, responsive design, and meticulous attention to detail.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Turn block screens, low fidelity screens, wireframes into pixel-perfect, production-ready high-fidelity designs.
  • Contribute or sometimes craft a UI style guide detailing typography, iconography, color, grid, and design components
  • Deliver production-ready components from new or existing components from other designers. You'll label them correctly, organize them, check their spacing and consistency and make them pixel perfect.
  • Collaboratively create digital product concepts.
  • Create execution studies for a particular direction through the use of photography and illustration.
  • Support our development team during design QA.
  • Evolve design work by building on either existing direction
  • Produce graphic assets for Frost's clients and internal projects website and app pages, branding, content, print materials, logos, icons, and illustrations
  • Participate in sprint planning, cadence meetings, and other alignment activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mid-level web designers, or early senior designers
    (minimum of 3-5+ years experience)
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Strong Figma skills with technical mastery
  • Strong understanding of web design principles
  • Responsive design expertise
  • Typography and layout excellence
  • Experience with design systems
  • Attention to micro-interactions and animations
  • Understanding of developer handoff process
